Abstract photography in China

A friend of mine just pointed out that earlier this week I had promised to post some more abstract photos from the China trip “tomorrow”.  I guess time got away from me- mea culpa!  More after the jump.

Speed

We took the high speed train from Beijing to Shanghai.  It’s eery to be traveling so fast (180 mph) but not be able to feel it!  The world outside just becomes a blur.

Architecture

There are no shortage of amazing buildings in Shanghai, but I find myself always looking for patterns.

Selfie

About as close as I’ll come to posting a selfie.

Landscape

This last one isn’t an abstract, though it is rather painterly.  It’s a landscape taken out on the lake in Hangzhou.  I’m interested to see how this one prints.  I might have to edit out the rowers though.
