Twenty-fifth in the Mirage series of fine art nudes.
More exploration with backgrounds and surfaces.
I use copper engraving plates for many of my metal mirrors. This time I peeled back the protective plastic layer which revealed a textured surface. I polished the center, then added back some texture by smearing the surface with petroleum jelly. I adjusted the amount of texture using rubbing alcohol in certain areas. The background is the corner windows of the studio and the city lights of Manchester, NH.
