A continuation of new work.  A change in the lighting setup has brought a new intensity of emotion to these photographs.

Light and contrast set a mood, whether it is a bright and cheery photograph of a sunset or the grey mist of fog rolling in at night.  Simple changes in the tone and direction of my light have changed the feel of this series of images.  Mara is stark- her musculature exquisitely defined while at the same time the shadows pull her into obscurity.  The texture of the metal merges with that of skin, to create a new membrane.
