Abstract Art Nude Outtakes

I’ve been hard a work developing the metal mirror series of abstract art nudes.  There is still a lot to be done, but I can share some of the out-takes as a teaser to the work.  Both of these are setup and early test shots, but you can get a feel for how the mirror plays into the image.  Most of the work in these images is not the photography, but in preparing the mirrors.  Each is scratched and then hand polished to give the texture seen in the photo.  I have a better system for polishing sheet steel- basically increasingly fine grits of dry polishing paper, plus a LOT of work.  The rust spots are from me sweating on the surface- I kind of like it!  I’ll post the final series images later, after I finish printing them.  Got some plans for that too…
